This abandoned silk mill packs a punch for what it is. Large, open spaces give a wide variety of uses of this location. There are pockets of industrial dilapidation that add to the immense character this building has. From the alleyways, bright red brick exterior, and facade that is a blast from the past, it doesn't stop there. This is a huge facility that stretches nearly an entire block and can be seen from down the street. On the inside compound of the building, there is a path that winds around a relic of the past; complete with exposed brick throughout, classic signs posted on the walls, and an atmosphere from the early 1900s. The rest of the building actually has places that do not look abandoned, and there is a wide space that has huge black rafters across the ceiling. These can be used to hang lights or other gaffer equipment. There is exposed brick on multiple levels with different varieties of red and white paint. The current tenets are up the creative alley as well and add another level of character to add to this immense property.
