Roaring 20's Meet Mid-Century
United States / New York
Location ID: #999-24126
This is another location that offers more than meets the eye. From the unassuming exterior you wouldn't imagine what lies behind the golden doors and immense pillars; as soon as you walk in, the golden elevators (and imaginary jazz music) waft you to an earlier generation, a time when smoke billowed, prohibition ran wild, and Elliot Ness was behind every sting. Suffice it to say, the lobby is immaculate. There are multiple drop-down golden chandeliers lining the ceiling, golden rails on the stairs, and deep purple marble running the walls. The crown molding is as meticulous as the rest of the space as well. Moving up in the building, there is a distinct difference in the style from our luxurious lobby. The time period shifts to a more Mid-century modern with clean velvet chairs and side tables, golden accessories, and glass-lined offices. This building was made for productions! As the floors rise, the practical application for shooting here is made more evident. There are multiple large open spaces that can be used for holding and catering, staging, or even shooting in a large space. Making your way up even higher, you are met with some funky offices that can double as production offices, or just a cool place to hang out in between takes (did anyone say green room?).
